Who would teach under privileged kids the importance of developing money management habits and set them up with a $50 savings account? That's exactly what RBC Bank, NC Minority Financial Support and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle did. NC Minority Financial Support taught 14-youths ages 6-14, over the course of 5-weeks, what a savings & checking account are, the difference between a loan and gift and why interest is a big deal. And oh, by the way, RBC Bank set every child up with a $50 savings account.
Real kids. Real partners. Teaching and developing the future leaders of tomorrow how to manage and make their money grow.
