    The first videos in the 80s were the best because artists were still trying to figure out what they could and couldn't do and inventing new visual technologies. It was such a creative period music video-wise. I miss it.

    Ah, I understand. I agree with you on it being a better song and video. While I like Peter Gabriel, I was not a fan of either Sledgehammer nor Digging in the Dirt. A bit too many (random) visuals for me - and ones which didn't really add to the song(s). Then again those particular songs were a little bit light on depth to start with. The melody of this song however, always tends to replay in my mind long after it is over. Cheers.
