This is what happens when you drink too much and get pulled over by the Coast Guard.

  • If you think this Petty Officer was being a prick you need to get a clue - he was dealing with a person who was obviously very drunk and a danger to safe boating. Even when he became annoyed with the drunk, the P.O. maintained a controlled demeanor. Perhaps if those of you with a bunch of opinons had ever pulled a dozen or so dead people out of the water, you would have some understanding of just what this drunk could have done to others. Good job USCG!

  • Power trip? I think this guy was actually pretty professional and respectful.

  • Now sir, get out of the boat and swim in a straight line.

  • This officer conducted himself very well. GREAT JOB!

  • @firemans33 required under law.

  • @Bunkerd86 That's because he is a rank lower than E-4. During this period E-1 through E-3 only wore stripes on Dress Uniforms not regular uniforms.

  • @Bunkerd86 That's because he is an E-3 or lower. In the Coast Guard during that period, only E-4 and above "Petty Officer" same as Navy, do not have insignia on their uniforms outside of dress uniforms where stripes are worn.

  • Way to go Kevin! One of the BEST Boarding Officers I ever served with!

  • @Catface91 Obviously no clue what you are talking about. Every one of my FST's have come into question in court and ALL have held, no lawyer can beat or obscure proffesionalism and practiced procedure. By the way, under federal law such as what is disciplined by the Coast Guard, probable cause does not play into consideration. Everything is initiated under safety.

  • @clayton1157 Is obviously retarded.......I was personally stationed with the Officer in question. He is very proffesional and followed the letter of the law. The reasoning behind being very precise is for the chain of evidence. If we as Boarding Officers do not follow or run our own procedures outside of what is stated in law,Clayton, get a clue, do your research before you attempt to comment on people whom are obviously more capable than you.

  • WOW!!! a .311 is outrageous!!! I'm surprised that guy isn't in a coma! The Petty officer handled it very professional and by the book.

  • @ipete6 Hah he was probably about to use some of that "sailor talk" when he remembered he was on camera.
