is it lollipop lava lamp? i just got 1 today looks like this but it's violet with red liquid :S i wanna ask u how long it took the 1st time to start making more than just 2 bubbles..? cuz it's for present and i getting worried- 3 hours passed only 2 big bubbles :(

i wish mine was like this,mines boring as hell. gets a big blob, goes up, stay for a few minutes, then fall. this 1 is just continuous and cool :D

Don't use oil, the good lavalamps are wax and water

basic lava lamps require lots of cooking oil

My mom will hit me like anything i use up large quantity of oil.

One more question

How long these types of lamp last.... like hours.. or days ?

they actually put coloured wax in the lamps and at the bottom the wax gets heated by the lamp and rises in a liquid form then cools at the top which then sinks to the bottom to be reheated again
