Sweet playing, I had a Line 6 Spider 75 watt transistor amp, great for recording but lame for live work!!! Does anyone know if this amp keeps the sound tight at gig volumes with it being valve rather than transistor?

the guy maybe good but this is more a show off vid rather then showing the tone of the amp....

That sounds really amazing, I have a dilemma on the mk1 or mk2 other than the effects are they essentially the same amp or is there a difference in build or and tweaks in the mk2?

@EvanN108 they are essentially the same however, the MkII can be updated via an FBV MkII pedal and we took out a lot of artist, song, style presets in the MkII and offered more user banks for customizing your tones.

does it makes so much difference as people say the 112 version to this 212 version? is it more usable in this version or is just the same thing?
thanks

@jpirata13 The 212 has 2 speakers so even though it’s the same wattage it pushes a bit more air and can be perceived to be a bit louder. Despite that, the 112 and 212 are the same.

Can you get distortion only from the digital models or can you also get the tube preamp to distort?

@pentagonoenllamas The preamp section of the Spider Valve helps boost your input signal but will not distort.
