  • what about the plants , and organism in air that get killed by your voice.

Plants r also living they also feel pain. What about them. These all r Hippocrates

  • @gurtr Plants do not also cry or shed blood. They do not feel the same pain as animals do.Humans are defined as animals. Killing an animal is like killing a human. however with plants its different.

  • khalsa ji how about the tabla its made out of sheep and goat skin?

  • @5sikh But it is not that the goat is killed for that. There is also natural death and them animals used for that. Also now there are synthetic materials used for the skin instead of goats skin.

  • @gurpalsingh6 are you telling me the shops that make the tabla and other instrument wait around for sheep's to die naturally? lol

  • @m92singh No, but im quite sure that the goat/sheep are not killed just for the leather for the tablas. as the tabla is such a small market. it is primarily killed for the meat. only the minimal parts are used for the tablas. infact, you could probably wait for natural death because there is not a big market like there is fr the meat industry.

  • Ignorance!! people want to know whether or not Guru Granth Sahib specifically allows sikhs to eat meat or not. REALIZE THAT SIKHISM WASN'T ABOUT SETTING RULES AND REGULATION. The Guru Granth Sahib points out that eating meat is not of the morally correct way of life but also says that people that reject meat but commit social crimes and cheat humanity is on the same par as slaughtering animals. The guru tells us to have a clean heart and you shall know whether eating meat is ok or not.

  • Well at all the people getting technical about the differentials between meat and plants... Biologically, plants are created as being producers, we are consumers, as are animals. You cannot kill an animal and throw it's seed and spring out 20 more. You can with plants. Plants were created for the purpose of producing and sustaining life for consumers.

  • @jangiro why are you calling people clowns?? Sitting behind your little computer and labeling them is easy. Your parents are the real clowns who made the choice to bore you, fool! You haven't read Guru Granth Sahib but you are pretending to know it all. I feel pity for this world thats got you in it.

  • @gurtr plants don't feel pain. Its been scientifically proven.

  • @KharaabJatt In this end, its your personal choice whether to eat or not to eat meat. God bless all

  • Dear All,

We all know the famous saying " As you sow, so shall you reap". You can find it in all the religions, all the holy books. Eating plants cause less pain and suffering. Therefore, we will have to endure less pain and suffering some time in this life or another birth (cycle of 84). You can call this "law of karma", "law of nature" or "law of god". Saints spent their lifetimes making people understand this, but we have changed their meanings according to what "we" feel is right.

  • This is what we do not need in Sikhi, clowns like him going around and saying that Sikhs do not consume meat. No guru nor in the granth is it stated that sikhs are not suppose to consume meat. Therefore, this is bullshit!

  • @gurpalsingh6 using the words "some sikhs" is wrong a Sikh is a Sikh there are no other branches.

  • @jatt05 is chopee shaib even in guru granth shaib?

  • Its a personal matter of choice. A huge number of sikhs eat meat. Its perfectly fine. But meat should not be allowed in Gurdwara.
