Auburn eagle "Spirit" crashes into luxury box window in pregame flight

Auburn University mascot "Spirit", an American Bald Eagle, crashed into a window and buzzed the crowd a couple of times during his pre-game flight on 9-10-11 vs. Mississippi State University. The bird recovered, but he's listed as questionable for next week.

I'm a UGA fan, but think this is a great tradition. Glad he didn't get hurt! I think the two mascot thing is a little odd but I know how it started years ago. I really think you should dump Aubie because you're all much more passionate about the War Eagle chant., but if you want two mascots, what the hell. Maybe we should add a kitten to our mascot lineup since we've been playing like one, but we did beat the Gators today.

Sorry I went to auburn university form 1979 to 1981, Music scholarship. It was ok but I always felt like a second class citizen tell people I went to auburn. I would have killed to have been in the "Million dollar Bad" But my ACT score was not good enough. Have to tell the truth AUBURN SUCKED AND STILL SUCK'S.
