Weapons
Definition:

A weapon is all those tool than can be used to cause damage to anybody. According to this meaning, almost anything that can damage, could be considerate a weapon (even if this won't their main function) depending the circumstances and the purposes for which they are used. So a weapon could be a fist, word's power and maybe anything, since a stone until a nuclear bomb.
Of the objects designed to cause damage, the most popular are the white weapons and firearms.
The white weapons: are those which are characterized by their ability to cut, injure and stab by sharp edges. They hold by the hand, they are used in combat melee. Examples of white weapons: knives, daggers and swords.

The firearms: It's called "firearm" to that weapon that uses gas pressure, obtained in a hollow cylinder with a Propellant loading to launch, with precision and force a projectile toward a target selected, in order to cause damage.
Firearms can be classified according to their morphology, in revolvers, pistols, shotguns and rifles.

Differences between revolvers and pistols
Pistols:
• Highest number of ammunition, around (12-20) with the supplier.
• Facility recharged.
• Possibility of blockage.
•Flash and noise can be suppressed whit a silencer.
•Automatics include secure switches to prevent accidents.
Revolvers:
• Less ammunition (usually 5 or 6 rounds in the drum).
• Its ease maneuvered.
• The possibility of using more powerful ammunition (such as cartridges magnum .357; .44).
• Sights are mounted to a fixed barrel, theoretically allowing greater accuracy.
• It is more reliable in hostile environments for semiautomatic pistols.
• Revolvers never block.
Shotguns:
A shotgun is a portable firearm that argues against the shoulder, it is characterized by being designed to shoot multiple projectiles (small bullets, known as perdigons) in each shot.
This kind of light weapon is very effective in short distances, is used in hunting, to kill small animals, but also for military purposes.
The bullets of a shotgun are formed by many small pieces of metal, which form a cloud of projectiles that allow hitting multiple targets at the same time.
Rifles:
A rifle is a portable firearm that argues against the shoulder, long-barreled, fired bullets over long distances. Created primarily with offensive purposes, is the personal weapon most used by the armies.

people kill people, so said weapons make it just that much more easy to kill people.

The danger does not originate from the object, the danger originates from the thought and intent to comit the act of damaging something.

I do not promote the use of violence to solve problems, its just that as long as we keep looking at the weapons as the problem, the problem will never be solved.

remove the firearms, and people will use something eles.
