Me, my sister, and my mom saw Darkness in the theater when it came out over here on Christmas in '04. Man, did it suck so much ball sack!! LOL It had an interesting premise, but piss poor execution. Although, I did like the opening credits scene with the kids. I agree with you, this movie had potential but unfortunately a lot of things were working against it. And don't get me started on the ending. Even me and my sis were like WTF in the theater. That was 5 bucks well spent! LOL
