I was there not their best gig for me as when they played it was still light and orbital really need darkness for their light show to work and for me the stage they were on (pyramid) was way too big for them but they were still good.
were they on just after Underworld this year, this was a pretty epic gig, all a bit of a haze, i think i'm somewhere near the back, seeing strange things in the sky as the sun set.
@Brotherbaylon I remember that , my first Glasto too - the whole weekend was just amazing but Orbital were a highlight - think Pulp were on after them and as I remember they were good also
I was right down the front for this one, badly sunburnt and dancing like a loon! 1994 was the seminal gig of course, when they headlined the NME stage. This was probably just as special though, playing those incredible melodies as the sun went down. Some unbelievable memories, Orbital will always be the gods of electronica for me.

@Shill360 Agreed. Atmosphere was the business...even better considering it was still light.

This is still to this day the best gig I have ever been to. The crowd was rocking that night.

What a weekend. My first Glasto, Scorchio, sun burn. It was the 25 yr annivesary.
Think Orbital opened with Forever - what a moment. A real privelage to be there.
