When I first heard this song, I was going through a nasty break up with a guy who broke off out engagement. He kept insulting everything about me and said I wasn't able to make sound choices. I paid his bills and gave him a place to live since he couldn't keep a job. I was going to work and listening to the radio when this came on. Once I got there, he was waiting and we got into one last fight when I finally told him I couldn't be broken anymore by him. One of the best choices I made.
