Firing at a local range.
This is a .40 caliber Sig Sauer 229-R that I carry everyday.
It's one of the finest made combat handguns you can buy.
And that's not my opinion, that's a fact!

hi there nice weapon but if you look at it closely you need to practice on the correct finger technic you never shoot with the seam of yor finger always with the tip try it it may improve you target group hope this helps

Thanks for the comment.
I do shoot correctly without the seam of my fingers. But keep in mind, I was focused far more in holding the camera and filming the gun firing than finger placement and trying to do all of that safely while firing.
When not filming, I have perfect hand/finger placement.

in my branch when we switched to the 229R from the M9 it was a hard adjustment nearly everybody who shot it for the first time failed very uncomfortable grip for guys who have big hands like myself

You must have hands like a Sasquatch lol.
I have pretty big hands and I think the 229 is a perfect fit.
I too have a lot of training with the M9, but I like the Sig much better.
But everyone's different.
Also, its not like the Glock either. When holding a Glock its like you have a bar of soap in your hand.

dude, your grip is not correct. y? cause after every rd you readjust it. also looks like you re slapping the trigger, you can clearly see it at 111. y didnt you show us your target?

@dunshou
Thanks for looking at the video.
I do know how to shoot properly, but doing so while concentrating on shooting video simultaneously AND being safe the whole time is a difficult task.
As far as not showing my target, well the video wasn't abotu that. I was simply filming the functioning of the Sig-229.
