I do not own the songs or the pictures. I am using them here strictly for educational and awarness reasons. I thank many of the holocaust museums and memorials for making their information available to the public for projects such as this one
May 1 2011 is Yom HaShoah. It is a time when the world should the holocaust. At 10AM on Yom HaShoah, sirens are sounded across Israel for 2 minutes and everyone stands stock still. Cars stop in the roads. LIfe comes to a halt for 2 minutes. For the rest of the world, the day goes by without so much as a thought of the Shoah or its victims, you and old.
On Facebook, an efford is being made to not only remember the victims but to bring them (and any story that might come with them) to life, even if just for 24 hours.
Please support this effort by changing your FB profile picture to a victim of the holocaust. It only take a mouse click or two. Can't you spare that amount of time for something this important?

So sorry too. It is only now that I've come to learn of this facebook call. But I can assure you that Israel and her people-the Jewish people-have always been in my heart even before I became a believer of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that will always be! And what is amazing is that the more I know Jesus, the more I love Israel. Yes, I will never forget, and the Jewish people will always be in my prayers!

I am SO sorry I didn't see this sooner...I only saw this today, May 7. Although I am a believer in Jesus (my Messiah) I have always had a heart for the Jewish people and continue to write blogs about Israel and especially beloved Jerusalem. I will still change my FB picture in honor of those who have been forgotten by most of the world. WE will never forget! May G-d richly bless you.
