Elisa has become one of my favorite female vocalists in metal, first time I heard her she reminded me of Fabio Leone from Rhapsody of Fire and I thought it was him!

She's definitley one of the best and most underrated female vocalists ive heard, its always about Nightwish or Epica or After Forever witch are good but those vocals are to bland after awhile, Elisa lets them rip.

I like her albums in Dark Moor, I also love the Dark Moor albums without her: Dark Moor, Beyond The Sea, Tarot and Autumnal, for sure those four are one of the best albums of the decade. Dark Moor is great regardless. The new singer Dark Moor singer kick ass too. Spain = Quality Power Metal.

However I have to agree that Elisa Martin is one of the best Power Metal singers. I wish she still was in Fairyland, I don't like the new Fairyland singer.

Incorrect; Elisa sings power metal. The women you mentioned in your post are symphonic metal and gothic rock singers; the standards are different. In many ways, I'd compare that to comparing a female growler and the aforementioned. They can't be compared. Judged against the standards of her genre rather than of her gender, she is excellent, ranking with the likes of Fabio Leone for me. I admire her for succeeding in a male-dominated genre, much as I admire Angela Gossow.

Dreamaker is the best project Elisa has been involved in, it's very different from the other symphonic power bands she was singing in.

@Wyndrax I don't know about that dude, new Dark Moor really owns the current power scene. I also like Warcry and Avalanch. The only ones I do not really like are Mago De Oz.
