  • @ATLMastering See my above comments. For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son. God is Sovereign. If some men reject the offer of the gospel of salvation -- there is a REASON inside of them that explains why God did not choose them to salvation. If God DID NOT CHOOSE THEM TO SALVATION -- it was not possible in this life for them to be saved.

  • @graceexplosion To understand reprobation and rightly attribute God's Sovereign will to logical reasons that are NOT discriminating between men who are equal in the fall in all respects - showing DIFFERENCE between the elect and reprobate spiritually - we must understand the reprobate are spiritually the devil and his angels incarnated as men. Matthew 25:41

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

  • @graceexplosion Jude 1:4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.... 12These are spots in your feasts of charity,...wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (The scripture is declaring the reprobate to be fallen angels who were fallen angels before of old existing made men.)

  • I responded with a video. This is in error. It states that there is no difference between the elect and the reprobate upon which is grounded God's decision in His will to save some and not others. That's wrong. Whileas according to the flesh of Adam, all mankind was equally in fall and sin -- this difference in flesh is not the totality of "what man is". Jude tells us that God's Sovereign decision is logical, has grounds and reasons on the basis of who the reprobate are before of old.

  • But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matt. 9:18. That is the only condition I really see. God calls (elects) sinners. He shows us who we are, He reveals our need, and He provides the solution.

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. John 6:37 I am so thankful that God chose me. It is not because of what we do, but because of what He did. Praise God.

  • Again, stating the biblical sources per sentence in your verbal is very distracting. Listing the quotes in captions should be good enough.

I believe God will elect into heaven people He knows that believes and practices His principles. God is conditional in letting the qualified come into his Kingdom. The "unconditional" part refers to only those who believes in Him. Am I correct?

  • Basically, God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell yet he pre-ordains for most people to go there because Jesus apparently didn't die for them. Whether they believed or not wouldn't matter because Jesus didn't die for them. He wasn't not their savior and didn't love them, apparently. So when we share the Gospel with people, we should tell them that Jesus MIGHT love them and that he MIGHT have died on the cross for them, or that he might have created them torture them for eternity. Yea Calvin!

  • OK, I have always wondered, for Calvinism to survive so long, they must have some way of explaining why one should even begin to think about behaving morally. If there is no human quality that God uses or predicts, then what is to stop me from killing everyone I meet, e.g. If I am saved, I am saved, if I am not, I am not. What is the point? Just curious. (and I am learning about them in history, so it helps for that too.)
