This is the second video from
Youtube user
Querdenker79 about his magnetic gate accelerator.

The kicker here is, that the small magnet must be pushed only gently
in, but then it is accelerated very fast out of the gate.

It even works when putting 2 gates in series as you can see here in the video.
Then the acceleration is even bigger and the shooter-magnet flies out much
further away from the 2 gates.

So the goal is to put more gates in series and build a rotational unit with a plastic pipe ,
in which the shooter-magnet is always accelerated and is running around
in a circle.

See his channel at:

or his own german forum at:

He gave me full permission to post it on my youtube channel.

Please visit his channel for more info.

Many thanks to Igor for this great inspiration.

Regards, Stefan.

  • @NERDftba I refer you to my channel and the others that are succesfully replicating Thane C Heins.

  • I think yes that when he tries to close the loop the dreaded sticky spot will appear. But what if he used a spherical projectile and shot it straight up leaving the loop open but emptying into a tube which through gravity would return the projectile back to the base of the magnet....?

  • I think there will be no sticky spot since the design is modular and two modules show greater accelaration then logic says it will accelerate up to a critical speed and then keep going. What will be a problem will be drawing power from it, otherwise it's a perpetual motoin machine with no useful function.

    Time will tell.

  • A bow and arrow is much more efficient ;-)))

  • @wopwops0482 What if the loops is made long enough so that the magnet gains enough speed to go through the "sticky spot"?
