  • Always loved her singing this song. When she went on stage she always wore fantastic dresses.

I remember her fondly. God bless her.

  • so very nice...

  • The singer with a laugh in her voice. How appropriate.

I wish there were a lot more of her singing on youtube.

  • Music I grew up with...to short a life.

  • Always loved this song and this is my fave version.

  • This was the song my mum sent over to my brother when he was stationed in Germany in the early 50s,(Luneburg),very sentimental and believe it or not apperently he did write to her everyday, alltough i find the everyday bit hard to believe..lol.

  • @GoldenOldiesOn45RPM - I appreciate yours as well in letting me expalin my mission on your videos. I hope to make it easier for more folks to stumble across great music like Alma Cogan's.

Each 'year' playlist details which artists (over 300!) from that year have a separate playlist. I'm cross-indexed like an old library card catalogue!

I've even tagged them all so, for instance, chkjns 1954 in the searchbar above pulls up my 1954 list with this song. Such a website ! ! !

  • @chkjns Thanks for your support !
