Jack Herer (June 18, 1939 - April 15, 2010) - The Emperor of Hemp

"Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere." - George Washington

"The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."
- Carl Sagan

Cannabis grows like a weed, repairs toxic soil, and grows better in hydroponics. This plant will save the world from the current path of self destruction. Oil was never intended to be drilled from the ground or deep water. Current petroleum, oils, plastics and most products are toxic to the environment and human health. Hemp products are biodegradable and healthy for the planet and all life. When food, fuels, plastics, fibre, medicine are grown locally energy consumption dramatically reduces.

We need repeal of an unconstitutional law that has filled our prisons with nonviolent cannabis users. The prohibition against marijuana was unconstitutional from its inception. Why is legalizing and limiting our ability to grow Hemp more popular than repealing the law to make it null and void so we are free to grow as many plants as we want?

There are not enough physical police, jail cells, or military to cleanse the planet of an abundant cannabis plant. If such an event were to occur, how could anyone destroy all of the cannabis plants while not killing wildlife, and nature?

Organic Food needs to be grown locally to reduce energy consumption. If the authorities won't take on this task, then it is up to "we the people." Even if you buy certified organic food in the supermarkets, at the checkout it goes through radiation which kills nutrients. Buy locally at farmers markets, and ask the source if the food is grown without poisonous pesticides (made from petroleum.) I created a video You are what You Eat if you are interested, you can find in my uploads.

This is a short video I created on hemp fuel. Some of the clips are from the documentary The Emperor of Hemp.

  • Search "All charges dropped against Julie Bass, the Michigan gardener threatened with jail time for growing vegetables in her own yard" That is evidence when the people fight for their rights, the government has to legalize marijuana.

    We are all being scammed being sold this low THC strain of hemp, mid THC strains produce FAR more seed, therefore ethanol too! The more activists taking action, the faster this plant will be legal just like it used to be.

    Democracy=Mob Rule. Republic=Freedom

  • Hemp used to make 500 gallons of ethanol per acre, new processes can get up to 1800 gallons per acre! Watch the video response.

    Even at 500 gallons that is better than most of everything, 1800 gallons per acre!

  • I looked to buy the book on amazon but it was really expensive, anyone could help me find a cheaper source?

  • @gringodeltoro1 Jack Herer's website has it you can read it for free. I have a link to his website on the Links and Sources page on my blog.

  • Wood pellets are now very common, however hemp pellets for stoves and boilers are a much better solution. We can grow hemp locally in virtually any location, and process the hemp locally into fuel pellets.

  • $120 a month replaces one of my medicines which cost $2800 a month. This cuts into the pockets of the pharmacutical money mongrels pockets. OUCH! I say I hope it cuts a hole in their pocket. Anyone who does not agree is seriously uneducated with tunnel vision. Not willing to take off the blinders. Take your amn blinders off and check out what's going on. Get educated that will get your blinders off.

  • I support HEMP.. Go GREEN.. great video.. I live in a Hemp state, but it is illegal to grow here? what? Does not make any sence..
