This compact butt-set sports a miniature rotary telephone dial. By using pegs instead of finger holes, it can be much smaller than contemporary dials.

  • I love the sound!

  • @matkovicha Yes, these are classic and don't think I could ever part with them!

  • Do you still keep the old one?

  • Did this come from agent 86? Neat peice. I didnt know anything like it existed.

  • I've never messed with one of those....they look neat

  • That's the truth, 72devilz. My dad, who is a lineman for Verizon, keeps a couple early TT butt-sets with him because in the area he works, AC induction leakage on pairs is a common problem and he needs butt-sets that can withstand occasionally getting 120VAC at 60Hz pumped through them when he hooks up to pairs that have major AC induction problems. Fine video!

  • Why's there a Z on zero? And where's the touch tone dial pad?

  • I have 2 of those exact butt-set phones and used it for years until I upgraded to a modern butt-set. Those old units could take a beating compared to todays sets.
