Historic Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, Ms. Columbus was a "hospital town" during the War Between the States" with the hospital overflowing with Confederate sick and dying the town folk opened their hearts and homes to the soldiers.

It turns out this place is haunted according to Shadowlands, The ghost of a Confederate soldier can be seen at the back of the cemetery patrolling with his gun back and forth through the Civil War graves, I know cuz ive seen that ghost before

The video is beautiful. My wife is interred there with her Mother, Father and Sister. Devoted wife and mother of two, was married to a USAF MSGT.

I live near Friendship Cemetery in the historic district. I love the cemetery and your video is excellent. 5*'s and favorited!
I also attend Tales from the Crypt each year during Pilgrimage Week.

Pleae share the event information I would love to attend. My Samuel D. P. Glover is buried here. He and several of his cousins joined the 37th Alabama Regiment Co. H.
His nephew James Glover and Nathan Z. Glover nephews of Samuel were with him in Columbus. Nathan survived the war. James was killed at the 2nd battle of Chickamauga, Chattanooga.
James's family made the long trip to Chattanooga to bring James home and buried him in Bird's old field in Geneva County, Al.
