One of the kind, hard to find unit by Linksys, This Wi-Fi SIP phone runs on Windows CE. Sound quality is very good when compare to my other IPEVO Skype phone, keys are responsive, it is a bit bigger but good on your hand. It has build in Pocket IE, Pocket Media Player 9, and a Webcam link function, so that you can do some quick check on this device without turning on your computer. It also comes with build-in web server, so that you can manage and do setting on browser instead of using the phone's keypad. This takes virtually all SIP (VOIP) settings, to name a few, Vontage, Gizmo5 (recommanded), Rogers Home phone (Canada), Primus. Cons: Battery life is short, lasts 1.5 days standby, also this is not good for using auto attendent systems, e.g. If you call your bank and asked to input your credit card number, it is hard to get it right, you will miss some digits while entering, it is not the hardware problem, I believe due to Wifi lacks. If you want to save few bucks on calling, this is a good choice.
Say that Linksys wifi phone seems pretty neat. can you tell me where I can purchase something like that, since I have never seen anything like this advertised on linksys's website. thanks

Great review! I didn't know SkypeIn wasn't offered in Canada until I watched this video. I already have the $3/mo Skype Pro service, so I was considering investing in SkypeIn. I think we don't get that because all Canadian Telcos MUST provide 911, which Skype doesn't do.
