Took my new Russian SKS out to the range for some sighting in and general shenanigans.
SKS shooting, groups and contrails (if you look really close you can see them I swear).

  • Like the others said, good shooting, and very nice gun. My only little gripe with this video, is you never said what kind of ammo you were shooting. I'll bet I'm not the only one that wants to know.

  • @Fluffy65

    Czech M43 surplus.

  • Awesome good times. I have a 54 Tula and I love shooting it. It's a non refurb no import marks. Non baked on finish all blued and numbers match. I have norincos and chinese ones and an albanian they all shoot great very fun guns. Excellent form in prone and very good video, so many people knock the 7.62x39 round but I"ve taken deer out to 300 yards with it. It's not a lack of power it's a lack of shooting skill I always say. Keep up the good work awesome video.

  • @enfield1576 Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks!

  • could you post where you bought the wolf ammo again? Did you cross border order? Can you purchase this ammo brand in Canada?

    Thanks; Love your vids

  • @sadnessinside123

  • Nice to see someone actually shooting their sks, to just firing off shots aimlessly.

  • Nice looking SKS

  • @nwrepka Thanks. I'd bet you can get tighter groups with more premium ammo, but it costs a lot more. It all depends on what you're trying to do. For plinking fun, I'm using steel-cased Russian ammo, which runs about $4.50 US per box of 20. For deer hunting, or other precise shooting, I'll need much better ammo, which costs more than three times the price.

  • good shooting. Very nice SKS.

  • I need to get me a Russian or Yugo SKS but for now I have a Norinco that has never failed me. I love the SKS.

  • You look like a survivalist, nice nice

  • @Alexn1067 its the para-trooper version and no import marks just the top of the bolt is a little rusty,
