Dragonball Evolution Review!! (with extras!)

THEY RAPED IT!!! THEY TOOK GOKU ,BENT HIM OVER AND RAPED HIM!!!
AAAAANNNDDD all I could do is WATCH!! WHY FOX!!! WHY!!!
This movie ...man what can I say other then don't go watch it! If you must ,download it and watch it ...if you see it in theaters mail fox and demand your ten bucks back!
the only good things
Granpa Gohan was the only thing really close to anything dragonball!
James Marsters I believe woulda been good if the movie was good and had more time and a better plot!
to rule - aya hamasaki was a good song for there theme but the movie could ruin her music career!

the poster of goku they used for advertise was probly the only thing that was good about this movie...sad it wasn't even part of the movie.

acting was sooo bad!! seriously..fox!!! you took something and didn't even put any thought into it what so ever you only assumed this was a kids cartoon and treated like you would do for kids...but this is over 24 years old and had been ongoing and is something of a television and manga legend!...why didn't you give it more respect as a comic legend like batman or the watchmen!!!??
further proves that fox destroys anything and everything...and another thing whatthe hell happen to saturday morning cartoons fox!!!??? you guys had once a good line up and were the top watched channel on saturday mornings...now all you have is infomercials!!!???

However I do not blame the actors cause i feel they didn't realise that it was super bad after the editing and production was done....
I'm so disapointed in this that I'm gonna write my own movie of dragonball...jsut for fun.
I advise you all to send fox hate mail!
it was the worse movie i had ever seen literaly...well still just a little...very little better then streetfighter with jean claude van dam!
the one liners are cheezy american kids satire from the early 90's worse then the jokes from tmnt3!!!! and nothing compared to the anime at all really...... it was like what they did with mario bros the movie...though I actualy kinda like that!!!

Please everyone write to fox demanding a apology not only for this movie but an apology to the actors who obviously wanted to make a good movie but got screwed over and are now gonna be hated for it when in reality you cannot blame the actors but the ones directing them james wong you need to be sent to the next Dimension!!!! Not only did you ruin a legendary story but you even ruined part of your own heritage with this for sham fox!! for shame Wong!!!


and finaly take a look at the extra link bonus stuff from fan made films!
I hope that this had more respect to toriyama , japan, the monkey king and all dragonball fans then that god awful movie!

gt is really good. Its more fighting than dialouge. And dude it kinda is a saturday, childrens show its not like something for grown ups

@raypetree244 wrong , the cartoon is based on a comic. all ages enjoy all forms of animation. db wasnt really or ever was a saturday morning based toon. it was played late nights in the west and during after school hours. not to forget the history behind the series as well in asain mythology and religion. the series is a calvalcade made for all ages. but i do like gt too. the movie lacked heart thats the problem, fox just threw something together and its not even a direct to dvd worthy film.

@MrSoap07 to be honest its good in its own right...i do enjoy some of it to be fare. it really felt dated in the 90's though but really felt like it belonged to the lets have fun aspect of dragon ball plus that whole toriyama never made it so its not real thing,when he approved it. I think what happen was the reviewers back in teh day hated it and it became famous to hate it without given it a chance its almost a subconcious thing ssj4 is pretty badass though and is tech the true super sayain

death note did it right you know what you can do start from the begining and work your way though the seires like harry potter and ehhhhh twilight... im seirous you can probally fininsh the seires in about eh 6 years of work plus you probaly could save more money then this rape flick

I just came across this video after looking for Dragonball Evolution reviews. I never watched the movie but I already knew it was going to be shit before it even hit theaters. There are many things that look wrong from the movie poster alone. I hate it when Hollywood gets something that is popular and just want to make money off it without even knowing anything about the project. This is 2012 and i'm still mad about it haha.

I liked GT, it reminded me what DB was suppost to be :(

Even Arika liked it but it failed on some of the fans so it became later more like Z.

But back to Evolution: Some people don't believe it that it is possible to put on 1 movie. Toei Animation did 2 DB movies which where 1-2 hours special from Goku meeting Bulma 'till beating the Red Ribbon army. I can't believe how they ruined my childhood. 1 of the best animes of all time which inspired many other animes those are still ongoing.

I went to Nom-Con this year and Kyle Hebert did a Dragonball Evolution Roast. And yes, Dragonball Evolution is the WORST film ever made. I'd so much rather see The Last Airbender than see this movie.
