hey, remember that classic ecology Sci-Fi movie "SILENT Running"?
It's been reversed,
& OUR ASSES
are gonna be the ones doing the running... from the dumbest & greediest idea since Frankenfoods--

Genetically Engineered TREES.
Just keep reading, it gets damn scary.

I thought this little sentence made 1 of the nice industry's greedy points
fairly well:

Way scary! I live in rural Iowa where there are miles & miles of hybrid soybeans & corn, being sprayed with pesticides & it all runs into the water supply. What is wrong with the ag guys anyway? You know all they think about is how to make money, not what is good for the earth & the folks eating the product or living nearby. This is why I have a large veggie plot and use heirloom seeds. And don't get me started on hog lots! Remember, you are what you eat!
