Cut the ground lead off, still glows, glows better when i touch it.

Radiant energy does not emit magnetic fields when traveling through a wire. thats why you cant use it to make a fan spin.

Try connecting the 'grids' to an inductive load NOT a resistive load. It is my understanding that the Radiant energy conversion back to hot electricity has to be done through an inductive means (i.e transformer or magnets driving a motor)
