Suno Choti Si Gudiya Ki Lambi Kahani - Dedicated to LATAJI

Sarla sings both versions of "Suno Chotisi Gudiya Ki Lambi Kahani ". Both are dedicated to Lataji however I also sing this song for Myself. The song is from the 1955 film Seema starring the highest award winner Nutan, Balraj Sahani, and chulbuli Shubha Khote. Originally sung by the soul of Indian Music Lataji. The film was directed by Amiya Chakravarty. Music is by my favorite Shanker Jaikishen.
I HAVE DEDICATED THIS SONG TO LATAJI WITH MY BEST WISHES. I HAVE CREATED AN ALBUM OF LATAJI'S PHOTOS FROM HER CHILDHOOD TILL THE PRESENT AGE.The photos are from her latest book Lata Mangeshkar IN HER OWN VOICE. I own this book and it has been signed in person by Lataji when I visited her at her home in Mumbai right after last Diwali. She also autographed my first CD consisting of her songs.I was happy to get her blessings in this manner.
The second version of this song I have sung for myself recounting my memories growing up.Lataji got the longer version of this song to do justice to the large number of her photos.
The idea to make this album came to me one day early in the morning at 5 am and I was not able to sleep after that.
I have put my heart and mind in this song to make it a nice viewing and listening experience for all.

Sarlaji, congrats for singing this great song of Lataji in your sweet and lovely voice. I enjoyed it very much. Here I would like to very humbly suggest to follow the timing of the song. I mean it sounds like you are in a hurry to finish the song. Agar aapne ise araam se aur zara dheere dheere gaya hota to aap shayad andaza nahin laga sakti ki aapke gaane mein aur Lataji ke gaane mein fark karna mushkil ho jata. Ummeed hai ki aap mere is criticism ko positively lengi. Ek Shubchintak.

Thanks for liking video presentation. Yes, you are right that Nutan was a rare gem. I saw her when she was healthy and happy at shop in mumbai where i still do my shopping. Then i saw her at hospital when she was not well. She looked very scared and while she was walking she was in her own world ,engrossed in her own thought.Cont.
