Tell me something, AzulDiamond? Did your great great grandmother have an ultrasound (or even your grandmother?). No. Did she, when your Mom emerged from the birth canal, love your Mom any less because she didnt know what sex she was being blessed with!!? I know, you know the answer to that!!!!

These machines were brought in to a Melbourne teaching hospital in the early 1980's and not to our surprise the doctor introducing them was a major shareholder of the company. Western Australian study in the mid 1980's that the sonar waves were causing alteration tot he DNA in rats. I A year later the medicos were convinced to reduce the number per pregnancy to 6 per pregnancy. This was the first step in the deskilling of midwives and doctors and the woman becoming a distant figure in the room.

@AzulDiamond93 The safe alternative is to allowed God to do his job.... women been having babies since Adam and Eve and they didn't have Ultrasounds... The technology is only about 60 years old... so its not needed... let it takes it course...

Purpose of video is to inform (informed consent) for complete picture of issue.Blatant misuse and frivolity in the application of ultrasound is what we want to guard against. I do hesitate to recommend you read the multitude of papers referenced in the article, as I dont want to have you stressed. No one ever said that one's baby would not be born healthy, . @LongLifeWellness this is my second pregnancy and i do get ultrasounds. i know that health wise for the baby it is not necessary but for me as a mom, they keep me sane. My 1st pregnancy, i carried full term and she was born still birth, the ultrasound makes me feel better and a lot less stressed out. No matter what anyone says, babies are born healthy even WITH ultrasounds. preaching to people about not getting them is sort of bothersome to me because not everyone understands why they get them

You can show me all the statistics and studies you have, I still would never give a kid an ultrasound unless it's critical for survival. Take a look at the Amish population. They have near zero incidence of these neurological spectrum disorders. They avoid most if not all of the common medical interventions. And don't bother telling me the kids die or some similar nonsense - they have much lower infant mortality than the general population.
