This is some awesome stuff. The band Flogging Molly uses this song as the melody for their anthem Salty Dog. If you know Molly, this song gives you a lot of extra fun from that song.

i agree tuning is the tough part once its tuned a little ppractice and you can play songs like ian can!

The lifestar was 3800 and the only problem with it was the front wheels needed replacing. The dulcimer may be expensive but eventually it will end up earning me money (by getting paid to do gigs for people)

That is so awesome! This is an instrument I would love to learn some day. It just looks so difficult though.

Actually its not that difficult. It just seems that way because of all those strings! Probably the most difficult and time cosuming part is tuning it. If you can play the Autoharp and other instruments you certainly would have no problems with the Hammered Dulcimer.
