Fort Leonard Wood Barracks Bravo 169 April 2011

This is alittle clip from ait of the barracks at fort leonard wood mo, it sucked but it was a place to lay your head at night, of course its alot better then deployment conditions lol, spiffy floors were buffed 2wice, if not 3 times a day, thats the worst part about these barracks and the first sgt is tough about his floors so if you make it there be sure your on your a-game with a buffer, i was in ait for 12r interior electrician....

@cirockidd23 hopfully your not leaving for basic during christmas time. recruiters fail to tell you that the 2weeks you get to come home you have to use it out of that 30 days leave the army gives you, and you have to pay for you ticket home and back...you can stay at basic but youll end up doing like 14 weeks of basic training due to refresher weeks when you come back....dont let them bs you, i just went through this issue last year, i done basic from nov 22 2010 through feb 2011

@nosh456 ok I'm going to BCT in Nov 21 2011 and it'll be through christmas. If I were to stay at BCT will they still deduct that time off my 30 day leave?

@luvtwinkie1993 -lol, i left for basic same day last year, no, if you decided to stay, they dont take out leave on you, they pile the guys that didnt wannna take leave into another barrack, you still do stuff, just alittle more laid back, still have hit times on formation, chow, make you bunks and all that junk, lights out at 2100, but no you dont have to take leave, you will do 1 week in-prossessing, then 2 weeks of basic, if you stay youll do 2 weeks then, wen leave is over....

continue......you do 1 week refresher, then the rest of your basic, it sucks bad im not gonna lie, its almost like doing 14-16 weeks of basic versus if you wait to enlist next year, poss. get a good bonus, and just do 8-9 straight weeks of basic, dont realy remeber but i think you still do PT every morning also....

No I'm no longer there but during basic training they take all that stuff from u and lock it up and depending on ur platoon sgts they will judge if and wen u get ur cell phone, if your gonna be in ait as a electrician or land surveyer u will end up in b169 Which they will only allow u that stuff at certain times of the day so learn to buff floors to the standard and u will be ok there... I'm not gonna lie it sux but the bs strict shit they stress isn't true once u r out its pretty chill....let

i was in bravo co 169 training battalion in fall and winter of 2002. man i dont miss the cattle trucks. not much to look at there but trees. at least your close to the chow hall. do they still have the bulldog statue by the backdoor near the company formation area?

My friend was in fort Leonard wood and he isan engineer soldier and none of them got to use phones or any electronics at all
