Stefan and I ride the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville. Lots of road footage in this one, folks!
Coming up soon:
The best is yet to come, as I do more commentary, see some cool stuff, have some weird experiences, and ride the Tail of the Dragon

  • The actual waterfall is on the other side of those rocks on the right. You were only at the top where the water flows through the rocks. If you didn't continue walking to see the other side, you missed an awesome waterfall. You can google it and see great pics of Linville Falls. Cheers.

  • Thanks for the info!. We're really looking forward to it.

We ride a bone-stock ( quiet) Harley Ultra. In my youth, I had loud. Now, I really want quiet.

I'm sure I'll view your videos many times as we wait out the winter and plan our summer rides

    Stay safe and thank you.

  • Hi Alto, happy to learn you plan to ride the BRP! People generally go within 10 miles an hour of the speed limit on the BRP. I was there over Memorial Day weekend, and it was pretty tame. The temperatures were in the 70's and 80's most of the time. Make sure to bring good rain gear. You're gonna need it. Don't woory about speed. It is so beautiful everyone wants to stop every 20 feet. Bring ear plugs for wind or loud pipe noise. Bring lots of camera memory and have fun!!!

  • Hello Mike. I've been viewing your videos of the Blue Ridge. My wife and I want to make this trip in late June ( 2010). Would you say , from your experience riding the Blue Ridge, that most people pretty much follow the speed limits and not pushing you hard? And, it looks like you did the ride in June..What did you find as the mean temperatures? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks again for the great videos. Makes the CT winter seem a lot better as I watch your Blue Ridge ride.

  • Well said cowboy.

  • Thanks, KR! You flatter me! I think the upcoming stuff is going to be better, as I "found my voice" so-to-speak.
