Demi: *walks out of the bathroom shocked and crying* Joe!
Joe: *walks over to her* Hey, what's wrong?
Demi: *pulls him outside* I can't believe you did this to me...again.
Joe: What?
Demi: *holds back her tears* I'm pregnant.
Joe: *shocked* What?
Demi: I didn't say it wrong! *cries harder*
Joe: I know. *hugs her* It's gonna be okay.
Demi: *shakes her head and pulls away* I'm going to the hospital.
Joe: What?
Demi: *crying* I'm getting an abortion!
*everyone in the kitchen starts listening*
Joe: YOU ARE NOT KILLING OUR BABY...AGAIN!
Kevin: *opens the door* Again?
Emily: Baby?
Miley: *tearing up* Baby?
Joe: Miles.
*Miley runs away. Joe runs after her again*
Joe: Miley, it was a long time ago! *turns her around* I'm sorry.
Miley: Your having a baby.
Joe: Nobody expected this.
Miley: No. But somebody should've. *walks away*
Joe: *sighs* Damn it. *walks back downstairs* Where's Demi?
Emily: She went to the hospital.
Joe: WHAT?! *grabs the key's to his car and speeds away*
Nicole: Here we go again.
A COUPLE MINUTES LATER
Doctor: How can it be an emergancy abortion?
Demi: Look, I just need it done right now. Okay?
Doctor: *sighs* I need a crew.
Demi: I bet I can walk out in the hallway and run into about 5 doctors and nurses who can perform an abortion.
Joe: *walks in* NO!
Demi: Joe-
Joe: *looks at the doctor* Do not perform an abortion. That is NOT an option. You can't do that again!
Demi: I can't have a baby.
Joe: Millions of people have had babies.
Doctor: I leave you 2 alone. *walks out of the room and closes the door behind him*
Joe: No. No way. Not happening.
Demi: Joe, we're getting divorced. For God's sake, you already have another girlfriend.
Joe: Me Miley?
*Demi nodds*
Joe: I think that's over.
Demi: It doesn't matter. We're getting a divorce, Joe. I don't wanna put our child through that.
Joe: So you'de rather kill it?
Demi: I-
Joe: You have our baby girl or boy. You would wanna kill ANOTHER one?!
Demi: I just need to get it out of me.
Joe: No! That's finale!
Demi: I can't take care of it. A few days ago you and Miley were consurned about a baby. I can't take care of one with or without you.
Joe: Please.
Demi: You know it's a girl...right?
Joe: What?
Demi: That's what the doctor said.
Joe: *tearing up* That's my baby girl. That's OUR baby girl. Please, don't kill her. We have a million people who can help us. Just please, don't kill her. You've already done it once.
Demi: *crying* I'm too scared.
Joe: Everybody get's scared. But you have people behind you.
Demi: What if something happen's to it?
Joe: Then I won't blame it on you.
Demi: But what if something happens to it? What's gonna happen then? I'm gonna have to watch my baby die.
Joe: It's better than killing it yourself. Please. I love you. We can cancel the divorce. This is what I've alway's wanted with you.
Demi: I don't know.
Joe: *get's close to her and cups her face* Do it for her.
Demi: *sighs* Okay.
Joe: *slightly smiles and kisses her* Thank you. Can we go home now?
Demi: *nodds* Yeah.
