Zangief Game 1:
- Against characters with slow walking speed be sure to stack that oil! - 13:59
- Once again FADCing the slide can lead to various follow ups such as an oil dive dash in normal grab/oil rocket and a safe jab oil slide. - 15:00
- Uncrouchable oil dive setup: CC followed by fwd oil dive. - 15:42
- Mistake #1: Never voluntarily corner yourself against any character, especially Zangief. - 15:45

Zangief Game 2:
- Trying to use back DNC normals more often to take advantage of spacing and initial invincibility. - 18:48
- Post strong oil rocket setup: Immediately hold up + fwd and follow up with a safe jab slide (use sparingly against Zangief). - 17:44
- Take note of the use quickly executed jump back normals to stuff lariat attempts.

Vega game 2:
- After landing a focus crumple stun on your opposition a quick fwd/back dash followed by a super will connect as your opponent falls to their knees. It even connects after an oiled up back dash but the timing is strict. 30:29

Vega Game 3:
- Mistake: Should have finished it with a special move and/or a combo to build meter for the next round. 31:38

Sagat game 3:
- Mistake: Sometimes landing that follow up short oil dive is not worth the risk of putting yourself in the corner. 39:37
- Mind games ftw in the final round ;) 39:55

DJ Game 1:
- Mistake: Too many random slides once again.

DJ Game 2:
- Early j./neutral j. RH to either stuff or trade with DeeJay's down + j. short.
- An early jump back strong also works + it provides you with an opportunity to oil up.

DJ Game 3:
- Post body press whiffed st. jab can lead to a safe jump in against DeeJay. Timing is a bit tricky though. 46:13

Guile game 2:
- Poor decision on my part. (poorly spaced slide attempt) 51:38

  • Just takes a bit of time, practice, patience and a whole lot of research as far as advanced tech and match up analysis but it' s worth it. The SRK Hakan forums should have everything you need in terms of in depth Hakan info along with plenty video tutorials to give you an idea of what the big guy can really do. Good luck.

  • TURKISH OIL WRESTLING RULES~!!

  • I've found no one understands sweet spot oil dives and have gotten perfects on B+ ranked players by just repeatedly doing them until K.O after the first knockdown.

  • Loving your Hakan stuff...keep up the good work! :D
