  • The 8V71 only drives the snowblower section, and the 6V53 drives the chassis like a normal truck.

  • Yup, pretty sure that the chassis drive is a 6V53.  Definitely a V motor from a short look, but didn't get close enough to verify if it was a 53 or 71.
