Found this on some IRC depository. May have come from one of the interesting Virtual Boy fetish sites on the webs.

Looks like a platformer/adventure game. Definitely plays up to the Virtual Boy's field of depth. Apparently developed by Intelligent Systems.

It's funny how 3D on the virtual boy was more about the depth of the playfield than in terms of how the world was constructed. Does that really count as 3D? My experience with the Virtual Boy was more along the lines of it being a monochromatic, incredibly smooth and detailed system. Not 3D. But ah well.

EDIT

Video has Planet Virtual Boy watermark. You can go there for more information.

  • Info for anyone who cares:

Dragon Hopper and Bound High are cancelled Virtual Boy titles. Both of them were actually finished by the time they were cancelled, and they would have been 2 of the very first second generation VB titles if released. They were cancelled because of the Virtual Boy's poor sales, and Nintendo did not want to waste time and money releasing these games on a dead system. All copies of Bound High were destroyed except for one which is held by Nintendo.

  • nintendo power reviewed this they made the game there was a final version of the box

they should haved tryed harder to release it

  • Wow. It's not actually showing anything, just talking about what it has...

  • AHHHH WHAT A TEASE!!! I wish they had gotten the finished games out on the market. Why in holy hell would you create games, finish them, and then not release them??

  • this game was ready to be sold but it kept getting delayed until the virtual boy just got discontinued, they would of lost more money then earned, even nintendo power had a review on the game!

  • I love how they DONT EVEN GIVE YOU A SINGLE SCREENSHOT, much less a video of what the gameplay is like.

  • THIS ONE NEVER WAS LAUNCHED ISNT IT?

  • I want that game!
