Sag mal, wie implementierst du das LOD und welchen Algorithmus / welches System nutzt du?

@MegaBenBarnes Die Indizes musst du nur ein einziges mal berechen, da sich die einzelnen Chunks ja nur in der Position ihrer Punkte, nicht aber in deren Anordnung unterscheiden. Somit brauchst du den Indexbuffer auch nur einmal mit setadata auffüllen ;)

It seems really nice but the speed gets really slow as you come closer. :o
Still, I'd so like to be able to do the same. I'm very interested in planetary engines, LOD, ROAM and all that stuff. But I'm a total newbie in programming.

Like I said in the description this happens due to the synchronous calculation of the noise on the CPU. I'm going to get rid of this problem by doing these calculations on the GPU later on ;)
