This is a very effective cutting tool provided it is used correctly.
It will cut through several lengths of 550 Cord at once; 550lb x 7 = 3,850lb (test tensile strength)
Simply hook the "V" Cutter over the cord and pull in a straight line; the cord is then forced into the "V".
The tension of the cord against the two blades will result in a rapid cut.
The cord being used in this video is GSA Compliant 7 Strand 550 Paracord (550lb test tensile strength)
cord.
