@2bluehorse ive seen many paddles snap from things half as big as this and it is still easy to roll up with half a padlle as you only use half of it to role up

@ThelLazyKayaker - That's what I assumed. I pointing it out and surprised that no one else had commented on it.
I am impressed on so many levels. First, that these kayakers have this much "adventure" in them. Second, I kayak, and paddles can take quite a beating. This paddle broke, yet the kayaker was able to hold firm to some part of it. And then, he was able to execute an ad hoc roll with half a paddle.

What's up with the paddle? The first boat goes in with a full, two-blade kayak paddle, but it come out with only half a paddle.

Have to say I loved the Means Of Production film, well up there with the top kayaking films at the moment such as Dream Result. Got quiet a bit of inspiration as we are a small kayaking flm production team - Small water by far compared to that video, but we have started our own business doing long kayaking expedition films and out door persuits - Its films like this that have inspired us....Good Job guys
