  • Few people know about the cover of this song by Lascelles Perkins and the Granville Williams Orchestra.

You can find it on Sceptor and on London record labels.

  • yes me know of that one the b side also very good with only a fool breaks his own heart inna a funky jazzy style with a great clarinet solo , found me copie on sceptor me will put it on when i got some more time

  • give it to dem toots & da maytals.

  • Fabulous

  • Like many of Toots/Maytals very best singles...over the last 50 years or so he/they rerecorded several of them...the remade versions are usually excellent and relatively faithful to the originals if not a bit updated.

  • @NLB90805 This is Toots before they were renamed Toots and the Maytals at the end of the 60' s or early 70's

  • This is the best festiuval song

  • amazing i have bam bam but this is history

  • nostalgic, gives me goose bumps .whoooooo!

  • Prefer this version over the one with Toots by a bunch. Then Sistern Nancy of course!!! Both big Tunes
