No different to a koi doing it so the filter will take out the harmful ammonia I would think. There are probably better places to drain the weasel though - as I keep trying to tell my 5 year old son..............

If I pee in the pond, will it hurt the koi fish?

Check my 'Pond Construction' playlist - there are a few which explain the filter on other ponds.

Normally a 10% water change is all you need to do to keep the water at its freshest. Most people don't bother doing water changes in ponds unless they have got koi.

Nice!! can I ask one thing. My neighbor has a marble pond(marble is pretty common here), and he too has a natural waterfall like this. However the water gets pulled through a powerhead up to a 2nd lvl, from where it flows down. there is absolutely no filteration system other than this installed in the pond. As a result, the water on the higher level is full of so muchalgae, it seems unsuitable for fish life.
I wanted to know can this filter be placed out in the open? To the elements?

Yes, it is designed for outdoor use. If you search 'OASE Filtoclear' you will find videos which explain the workings of the filter.
