It's easy to do that CGI in a panning shot of any kind. You make the scene (And dummys of the people) and then just rotate the 3D camera to match the scene's camera, it's even easier with modern technology in 2009 and such. "And if you're that kind of guy, why are you going to the movie to be annoyed?" Because the trailer didn't show us the annoying, overused handheld camera that has been over used since the 60s....

Loved this movie, great sci-fi. Another good one is "Moon" by Doug Jones and "Sunshine" by Danny Boyle, good acting, heavy subject matters. Another good one by Jones is fairly new is "Source Code"...very Steven Moffat-ish.
