v8 ranger vs gst eclipse

93 ranger is mine with a 302 out of a 98 explorer,headers an exhaust with sct tune weighs 3600lbs, eclipse has an upgraded turbo I forget the size and exhaust. we rolled from 30mph. The ranger is a work in progress an is a mid 14 sec 94mph everyday driver. Bigger balls to come....

what happened you started off so good then you lost him?

@ANaero2002 im hoping its because I have the stock explorer cam. It pulls good till 4k an then struggles up to 5500. for a stock motor im happy with it but it will def get some work done in the future.

@jgmtiger No you can't, DSM Eclipse's are AMERICAN left hand drive cars, They did not make them in RHD because they were made in Illinois, U.S.A. There is no such thing as a RHD DSM Eclipse. There are RHD Evo's and other Mitsubishi cars, but not DSM Eclipse's.

@pickmelter38 no you can import a eclipse from japan (right hand drive ect ect) just like a rx7 and such

@jgmtiger Import one? All DSM's are made in Normal, Illinois U.S. There are no import Eclipse's.

@gus0440446 yeah GST and GSX are BAD you can put just about any evo mod on them and can push like 20 psi easy with the right mods its sweet the gsx tho is king of the eclipse's unless you get a import one

@jgmtiger well the one i played was the automatic gst and i was the only one that took off spinning it got in front of me going like 80-85 i also played him going at 45 now there he got me like nothing

@gus0440446 no the gst is manual or auto with a 4g63 turbo engine the GSX is the same thing BUT has AWD so on take off all the tires would move meaning its like taking off in a 4x4 truck you dont slip nearly at all

@jgmtiger isnt a gst and gsx the same thing just that the gsx is manual so it would really depend on the driver on that race i still think if it was stock it would lose
