  • Although the music belongs to a world that has long since vanished, the range of experience the singer conveys is valid for all time. - John Austin, Australia

  • @jrakg I second your opinion in 100%, thank you!

  • A passionate tango, and Leshchenko's voice always sounds young and radiant. Elegant video!

  • @dzheger In 1920s and 1930s in Paris many models for haute couture collections were Russian aristocrats. Many of these breathtakingly beautiful and elegant ladies had simply no other way to survive after the catastrophe of their luxurious paradise in Tzarist Russia. First class photographers like Hoyningen-Huene - himself, a Baltic aristocrat born in St Petersburg - had a whole array of top beauties to pose for them. Perhaps, that's the source of the outstanding elegance of many of these photoes

  • Hello Grzegorz - Pyotr Leshchenko was a divine interpreter of Tango. Oscar Strok was a Tango Giant - in his his own right. You put those two together to arrive at a masterpiece. I want to know who is this super angelic Tango spirit looking beauty in the frames 1:05 through 1:11 and in the frames 2:13 through 2:23. Thanks for this upload and have a great day!!!

  • @tango3721 At 1:05 , 2:13 and 2:23 are models presenting Madeleine Vionnet haute couture collection of the year 1939, woman at 1:11 is a model posing for George Hoyningen-Huene - the Baltic Germano-American genius of the chic photography of the 1930s.
