if you are worried about scratching, use pipe dope on the areas that contact the hanger. if you have the smart cover (or any cover), use that on the back when you place it in the hanger for extra protection.

@TheLishinator Why not? I've trusted hangers with coats a fair bit pricier than an iPad.
