I realized my 1st cover of 'Mr Big - Take Cover' (posted here on 18th Oct 2009) wasn't played exactly to how Pat Torpey has played. Thanks to the advice & tips from some of the drummers here, i managed to figure out Pat Torpey is playing paradiddle with very clever use of Floor Tom & Bass kick.

Took me awhile to get the rhythm in sync with my hands & legs. Hope i managed to play it the way it should be. ;)

This is also the debut of my brand new Pearl Demon Drive Double-Pedal P3002D & it feels awesome letting my pedals take all the punishment due !!

And for the World Cup 2010 fever, i'm wearing the Brazil tee! Go Brazil Go!!! =)

Not a perfect cover, but hope you can feel the excitement im having right now, when it's just afew hours away from seeing Paul Gilbert, Eric Martin, Billy Sheehan & their superb drummer, Pat Torpey performing live on stage!!! Ok, i gotta get ready & head off to Mr BIG concert now.

all song, work with this pattern, except for some stops or crash cymbal...

it's not easy to do, but, start slow and the result will coming soon...

Nine effort dude...Thou' its much more complicated than that. In his clinic here in Manila, Pat said the the pattern in the drum solo is exactly like the pattern all over the song. The only mixed up is, he used the ride cymbal bell in the solo while he used the low toms in the most part of the song....
