Blind Faith, probably Claptons last truly great project before becoming a middle of the road hack appealing to the soft cock rock of the mid 1970's and beyond.
Pretty much Winwood, Gretch and Bakers zenith as well.
Clapton, a very charismatic man;he always had such interesting image changes.►5:56◄here with his psychedelic Gibson SG (later owned by Todd Rundgren),painted by Dutch art collective "The FooL",who also painted the mural for The Beatles'Apple Boutique.(who were by themselves an interesting (bit naive)music collective too).
Nice footage, I used to listen to all these bands so often, grew up with them..... Had my little stereo player out loud in my schoolgirls room upstairs, my father shouting downstairs to reduce the noise for this was no music according to him... ;-), thanks for sharing, I forgot about a lot of them, you made me remember again and made me a happy Dutch lady...
Recently Steve Winwood with Eric Clapton came to Japan. According to Steve, Eric never tried to sing at 1969. However, it's lucky for me, because Steve's voice in Blind Faith's album is very nice. Anyway, thanks for sharing a good film!
love how theres no wear on the "Layla Frets" on eric guitar early days in 69!

What type of keyboard is Steve Winwood playing? Is it an electric piano, or is it like an electric organ, like a Vox or Farfisa?
