@AliensVsCoronationSt I think i had quartet, i used to get a whole lot of free stuff from dave and tony..i wonder where they are now..and john simes the boss of microdeal..i'd love to redo this demo fort the pc..in 3D...what i liked about st / amiga was the fact that these demos tried to push those machines.but the pc has made it all too easy now..

Great work! This was the first demo I ever saw on the ST. Good old days!! Check out my Quartet tunes. They were output through the Replay 4 cartridge and recorded to tape and have sat in a cupboard for about 20 odd years.

@AliensVsCoronationSt this demo was launched in the microdeal stand at a computer show at olympia london, i think we sold enough to pay for the exhibition stand..

i had the replay and it had a demo with i think parker from thunderbirds saying, a e i e uuu not so loud...

You could hit the function keys to trigger off various parts of the sample. It made the demo more interactive and you could sort of 'mix it yourself.'

I bought a copy of this from Microdeal in Manchester Arndale Center. I think it cost me about 2 quid. I spent a lot of time watching Amiga demos in that shop, wishing i had one though. ST for me!!

If I remember correctly this is the only demo featuring 4 bit compressed sampled sound (in uLaw format) but I don't know if that is also deltapacked or directly output.
What does this mean? This demo actually plays 4 bit samples!
