@ericdt7 - Do a little history on the R.C. Church and then you wont be making such a rash statement(s).
-
@ericdt7 - Discernment is needed when dealing with R.C.`s. Some do have salvation and are like myself, and make a decision to grow and follow Christ and let the dead bury the dead, yet love the unregenerate of any walk of life, that God in His Grace might shine Jesus and true salvation as outlined by the Master Himself John 3. He is the only Life of Light John 1:4-5. No Pope or any other pretend to be Mediatory between God, and Man. John 14:6. Deceivers are II Corintians 4:3-6

I enjoyed that...thanks for posting it.

Where's that in the Bible? A Christian by deffinition will have a new nature thus out of that saving faith will springfourth good deeds autoatically including the ability to do what you ask for. But ultiately it is God who gives that ability not something a dead corpse can do bytheselves.

To speak the truth in love, one needs a deeper understanding of Christ's love for us, which in turn requires a humbleness, and level of maturity that can only be acquired through reflection upon the second greatest command of them all; "Love your neighbor as yourself".
-
"To speak the truth in love" is a meaningless phrase unless you define what it means. All truth is by deffinition loving because the standard of truth is God himself. And God is love. Even the truth spoken by an idiot in an offensive manner is an act of love if what he says is true because that truth in and of itself bares witness to the Glory of God. Though ideally we are to be civil because the Bible commands it.

I certainly agree that we have to speak the truth into the lives of everyone... Yet, we are called to speak this truth in love. And... what do words mean, if our living testimony contradicts what we speak of, right? I certainly deterred me from becoming a Christ Follower for a long time... until I learned the truth about God's unmerited gift to us, through his Son and Savior.

thats true. Both are orthodox Calvinistic Christians.

I agree the atmosphere is a bit unchristian however I cannot in all good conscienceness call a orthodox-roman catholic a brother or sister in Christ. The Doctrines of Imputation by Faith alone because of Grace alone are essential elements of the Gospel thus apart of saving faith which only God can give. That is why I must get courage and witness to my catholic family members before they die.

Yeah, I did not mean those comments. :)
The comments posted below about Catholicism are somewhat poisonous. Surely, being a Christian myself (though not a Catholic), I would not make such rash statements. Even though I too am troubled by some of the core believes of Catholicism, I would still encourage you to embrace your brothers and sisters in Christ with a loving heart and speak the truth accordingly. That is afterall, our second greatest commandment.

SKYSPLASH--I have seen you type and you are obviously copying and pasting this crap from some Catholic web site forsure. We Christians know very well the Catholic organization is from Hell and there is no truth in their teachings. If you wish to study Catholic beliefs and history go back further in time and you will see more clearly what they truely represent. The Pope is a lie and so is his is man made religion that is liying and deceiving the masses. The Deceiver is at work here!

If you carefully looked at all the comments I was Challenged that the Vatican did not teach certian dogma.
I told the person you are wrong they still do teach this dogma and it can be found on the Vatican s website. So I proceeded to copy paste the OFFICIAL teachings of the Catholic Church to prove the Roman Catholic person wrong.
SO take a chill pill.
