Aw Jeez fuck, I love the drums in this song

@bro8664 Thank you! One of the things for me with the bigger drums was the high tunings that made them sound good from a bit of a distance.

Hi Terry, I've read some info over the years that Bonham was inspired and a fan of Carmine Appice, so much so he bought exactly the same Ludwig kit when Zeppelin toured as the support band for Vanilla Fudge. Many british heavy rock bands were envious of, and tried to imitate Fudge...Bonham,Appice and Peter Criss from Kiss(to name a few) were big fans of Gene Krupa' style.Breaking away from the traditional jazz style and forming what became the heavy 60's/70's drum beats...Do you think so??
Sounds amazing! Can you go through those great fills right at the end of the song? There's a bit where it's just one epic one after another.

Big (new) fan Terry- outstanding! I especially love how you likened that one part as "Immigrant song" with the 16 note using two hand hi hat. That was a HUGE help for me. By playing that repeatedly, it really opened up the entire song for me.
Thanks again!!
