  • @Leftout764 also the ones that seem to have a problem with the police are probabaly the ones who are doing something they shouldn't be.If a member of your family was involved in a car accident with an uninsured etc driver, wouldn't you want the "muppets" to be there to sort it out.Thats all they're doing, getting idiots off the road who are not legally allowed to drive for one reason or another.

  • @Leftout764 When people are driving around with no insurance or licience etc,i hardly think they're muppets.Unless you think its acceptable to drive that way,but a lot of us dont. Some people just have a major chiop on their shoulder when it comes to the police, but as has been mentioned they are just doing there job.I honestly dont think they would pull anyone over without a reason, there is always something if the police pull you over.Behave and you will be fine, simple as that.

  • welcome to the past

  • @boatandfireman of course you would ,would you also go on a spelling course too.

  • The other annoying thing at roadside checks is some unqualified person testing diesel vehicles to see if they are using RED Diesel or GREEN in Ireland! The police do not use fresh tube and containers, so are cross contaminating diesel tanks.

The other thing about ANPR is that without public knowledge or permission, the system has been photographing the driver and passenger of each vehicle. Those records are kept by police, like DNA when someone is innocent!!!

    They're building a HUGE database!

  • There is a HUGE PROBLEM with ANPR. At the moment it is a database only and NOT a live system, so cloned cars can not be detected. What it should be doing is looking at 2 cars with the same number that are in very different areas at the same time! Think of how many more people would be caught. Also when a car changes owner, the old intelligence markers are not removed - so the innocent new owner gets followed and stopped all the time because of outdated information. Apart from that it's great.

  • nah thay is all muppets id go on the grass nd spinn some mud in thre face

  • Just doing there jobs so hardly muppets , your comment makes you the muppet :)
