An ambitious day of chasing a steam train by Cityrail.

3016, a Beyer-Peacock interloper from the ARHS ACT in Canberra, double heads with 'Pig' 3642 on a NSWRTM tour to Wollongong and back.

  • Great video.

I spotted the 3642 doing the last Cronulla line excursion before duplication made swapping ends at Cronulla impossible.

I will post link on my old identity, ernietube1

I have some other Illawarra line steam and Electric trains on this identity.

  • Good work. I like the last shot at the spot on the river behind Waterworth Park at Tempe, a location apparently not widely known as the effects on the water are oftern excellent. I saw them there in the morning at exactly the same spot but since I was meant to be umpiring a cricket game I did not have a camera so thanks for yours.
